“This little box of individually wrapped chocolates was a delight. Creamy and delish. The chocolates were about 1” x 2” in size. You could bite it in half or pop the whole thing in your mouth and let it melt away. The flavor was consistent through out. Would but again. Sorry, no pic because they’re already gone!”
“The website states "Country of Production" but the six boxes I received are marked "Made in Slovakia". I am trying to return them but have not had any response from the company. If I had wanted Côte d'Or Bouchée made in Slovakia, I could have ordered on Amazon at a lower price + next day delivery. Super disappointing as the Bouchée made in Slovakia are nowhere near as good as those produced in Belgium. One more delicious product ruined by corporate greed.”
We have addressed your concern with the manufacturer. The chocolate is made in Belgium, where the distinct flavor is derived, then trucked in liquid form to the manufacturing facilities in Yugoslavia or Poland depending on the product variety for molding and packaging. This process has been in place for at least 7 years and is the same for all Cote d'Or products/items distributed throughout Europe & Worldwide. The only exceptions are a few small bars, but those will be outsourced soon as well.
Cordially,
WWC
“I love the size of these little chocolate treats. Just right to provide something for my sweet tooth but not too much that I feel like I have over-indulged. The packaging is also quite attractive. And the taste is yummy, just the right consistency.”
