Pleasant, but a bit too sweet.

Good deep chocolate flavor that starts out bitter and ends with a roasted coffee flavor. Just a little too bitter for me, but my husband is a coffee drinker and he loves it.

These Guittard Onyx Wafers are a bit dry for mouth feel, but have a very good flavor and are great as chocolate chips for cookies (so much better than Toll House) or decorations on a cake.

I use these instead of chocolate chips for cookies. The chocolate flavor is superior and larger size make the cookies outstanding.

We usually buy from King Arthur but they were out of stock and their prices had been going up the past few years. World Wide Chocolate saved the day and at half the cost! It came fresh and quick, great robust taste even for snacking. This is the perfect % for those who don't like it too sweet but also without the sharp bitterness.

I buy this chocolate to eat. This solves my chocolate craving with just a few wafers. These wafers have an intense, multidimensional chocolate flavor that is not overly sweet. I have also baked with it and found it to perform beautifully for melting and baking.

I use these large disks in my "Extreme Chocolate Chip" Cookie recipe! My friends beg me to make them! One of my photo's is a delivery to one of my friends! I use a entirely different method of making these cookies!
