“Foolishly, I tried to make this cocoa as of I would regular store bought cocoa. Foolishly!! Ha!
This drinking chocolate is way too rich for that! I used oat milk for my first cup (first time making cocoa with oat milk,as well). It was deliciously smooth and rich. It tasted of strong chocolate and a lovely flavor! At first, it was a bit too bitter for me, so I added a dollop of bourbon caramel syrup that I had bought at a candy shop in Moscow, ID. That sent it over the top of deliciousness! I loved every drop of it. But I also had a sludge at the bottom due to my overzealous scooping hand. So, that's on me, for oversaturating the mixture.
I say so this to say, it's a great drinking chocolate. Even without it all dissolving into the milk, it was smooth. There was no powdery taste to it at all. I'm excited about this drinking chocolate and can't wait to get another cup soon.”
