The foam went on easily to a metal ceiling, clung on without any major splatter. The kit is easy to use, however needs to be kept warm in order to perform. I pre-heated the kit in our boiler room (which is a constant 35 degrees celcius) and then wrapped the bottles in blankets, which kept them above the recommended 25 degrees for the duration of spraying. Coverage is *probably* 55 square metres if you know what you are doing with this foam, however it's not that easy to meter when spraying a ceiling. I ended up having to purchase another Froth Pak 600 kit as only got half of the 50 square metre ceiling done with the first kit. The hose burst on the first kit also, which I had to shorten to enable me to continue. Keep these hoses away from any heat source or they will melt and burst!

I used this product to spray insulate a shipping container. I estimated 570 sq/ft and this kit is 600 sq/ft. Read the instructions a few times and its relatively straight forward. Except ..... towards the end it sputtered and I assumed I was running out. Later when depressurising the tanks I found they still had contents and I now believe I just should have changed nozzles when it sputtered - like it says in those forgotten instructions! I wanted a 25mm depth and am a little disappointed that it seems to have achieved 15mm mostly - was that me not using all the contents - not sure. One big beef is having to buy the fan spray nozzles separately. Surely the kit should include a selection especially as i think 50% customers would want a fan spray - this is not a criticism of A B Building as it seems to be the manufacturers choice! not impressed. As for cost ....... approx £840 ...... a professional quoted me £1260. On reflection if it was a serious job I might get the professionals in, but it was fun!
