A second item was required so that I could launder the current one. The splint more than meets my needs and requirements as my thumbs are sore owing to wear and tear over the years.

I have been wearing these supports on both thumbs for year's as I have arthritis in both from years of hairdressing and beauty work. I honestly couldn't do my job without these. They help control the pain giving me support. I have tried several others from different companies but have never got on with any of them and always gone back to actesso. Lately I have had to put a strip of adhesive padding on the inside of the metal strip supports, as my thumbs have become more deformed it was rubbing them sore but this does the trick.
