“I am not very good at looking after real flower bouquets and these peonies are such an excellent copy of the real thing they make life easier and provide, for me, the same joy that real flowers do.”

“I bought 8 stems of peonies and immediately sent a message on Instagram asking for certain shades which disappointingly still hasn’t been acknowledged after 17 days. The automatic updates on shipping were appreciated. When the flowers arrived I was a bit underwhelmed. They cost close to £100 for 8 stems with a 15% discount code so they’re a premium product but they sadly didn’t feel premium. They came in a reused box which was far too big and most of them had strings and beads of glue on them which I had to spend time picking off; something I wasn’t expecting to do. The heads were squashed and shinier than I expected; they mention not using shiny materials as it’s a telltale sign the flowers are artificial. If it were free to return and had they been shipped in a suitable box, I would have sent them back. The cost of the shipping would have been high and there is no guarantee they would have accepted the return. When deciding if I liked them, I put them in a vase and cut the band grouping 6 of the 8 stems; they only accept returns if the band holding the bouquet is still intact. The band would have cost just a few pence but because I cut it, it wasn’t certain a refund of nearly £100 would have been accepted.
Overall they’re OK, I’m not completely unhappy but I don’t think I’d buy more which is a shame as I had plans for multiple arrangements and gifts. For the price point I expected more and I certainly didn’t expect to have to pick off glue gun residue from every stem. I would liked to have received a reply to my message to make the experience more personal as the website promised but unfortunately I didn’t have any response.”
