My children have worn Babes in the Shade swimwear for a few years now and have always loved the designs and quality. However, my most recent purchase has been disappointing. One of the swimsuits—red with white flowers—developed yellow discolouration after just three wears.
I rinsed the swimsuit thoroughly after each swim and no sunscreen was used. I did reach out to customer service to raise the issue and also acknowledged that I may have been at fault in some way, but I’ve followed the same care routine we’ve used with all previous swimmers—none of which have discoloured like this.
Based on this experience, I don’t feel confident purchasing again or recommending the brand to others.”
