I first tried a measured 6 oz glass of white wine and waited 15 minutes to test, with a blood alcohol result of .000
So on a separate occasion, I drank a Blue Moon beer with a BAC result of .009 after waiting the proper amount of time.
I feel the machine is accurate. It is easy to use and prompts you with a beeping tone to measure the length of time to blow.
The next time I tested, I had two glasses of white wine in a row on an empty stomach, waited 20 minutes and tested .07.
Whoo Hoo! That was noticeable!
I found this tool valuable since I have always wondered about driving after alcohol consumption.
I learned that, for me, I would NEVER drive with a BAC of .07.
In other words, I know how it feels to be close to the limit of .08 and it is way more impairing than I ever knew.”
“As long as you trust your friends and everyone’s healthy, BACtrack is a fun party activity and challenges your friend who says “nah, I’m totally not feeling buzzed at all!”. “Well, I don't use the app, I do test myself from time to time 20 minutes after having a beverage. It is very informational as to how many beverages it takes me to be at the legal limit.
