“As someone with a DUI on the past, accurate readings are very important to me. Every other brand I’ve used has given results all over the place and were incredibly inaccurate. “This is compact and easy to use. I don’t know why I didn’t buy a breathalyzer sooner. I have always struggled with blackouts from alcohol. I’m sure it has to do with drinking liquor and not eating enough when I drink. This was a huge (and unsafe) struggle all of my college years and into mid 20s. I don’t drink all that often anymore, but when I do, my tolerance is even lower now. Having this breathalyzer really helps me pace myself. You’re supposed to wait 20 minutes after drinking before testing, so I try to be mindful of that 20 minute pause, and then test. I can now gauge how much I’m being impacted by each drink. I’m a numbers person, so being able to see a number and quantify the effects of each drink really helps me self monitor. I’m sure most people use it to make sure they are safe to drive. We will use it for that too. But helping to prevent blackouts was a huge appeal for me. I know not everyone experiences that with alcohol, but if you’re someone that does black out easily, you know how scary that can be. I’m really happy I bought this!”

“This is my sixth trial of a different product from them. The first time I got the C6 about four years ago, maybe three, it worked great not an inaccurate trading at all but ever since that one broke and I bought the five other ones they will be throwing out random numbers Every blow. They offered to calibrate it, but if it didn’t work the first few times every single device (different models too) I feel that there’s no point of calibrating it since they apparently calibrated before they send it out and package it.”
Hello Marlie,Thank you for your feedback.Please be aware that while the device calibrated during the manufacture process but has to be recalibrated every 6-12 months to ensure accuracy.
