“We have 10 of these devices which we use for our company, and while the products are generally good, the S80 gives constant issues. Sadly the customer service is really bad. They are reluctant to refund or exchange faulty devices, and want you to send it in each time for a calibration which takes a month. We had one device that was sent back for repair and was returned still faulty, and we were told they wont exchange it, only calibrate it again despite not doing it properly the first time. Seems they only have one person doing customer service, and when he is on vacation you wont get a response for weeks at a time.”
“I love the size, utility, and (specified) accuracy. It's my only breathalyzer so it's hard to give a definitive "accuracy" but based on my understanding it seems in line with my expectations. It helps me calibrate my understanding of how drunk I can get after a night out and make smarter decisions given the context that I find myself in.
Just be sure to follow the directions of "don't blow before 20 minutes after your last drink." Just for fun I blew right after a shot of fireball and got it up to 0.4!”
