“I used my first S-80 for 10 years. BACTrac recommends yearly calibration and periodically breathing into it (even if you have not been drinking) to keep the sensor healthy. I got my 2nd S-80 after my 1st one could not pass calibration tests. That was my fault as I didn't do the recommended calibration schedule and the sensor was beyond saving. This S-80 is a good tool and NOT a toy. If you take proper care of it, it will give you years of piece of mind. Do what the recommended directons suggest and you will have years of reliable usage. I'm a Fan!”
