“I like the way you can use the laces to adjust the fit, then simply zip up the back. Well made, and if they perform as well as my old Montana boots, very durable.”

“I have been looking for a pair of practical boots to fit my narrow calves. I've had several other brands which fitted the bill until it came to replacing them and found the sizing had increased and they were no longer suitable. I thought these might work as they had the lacing for further adjustment, although I had previously been put off by the ornate look and thought they might then be less practical. I bit the bullet and ordered my usual size 41 in brown for dog walking etc. It was quite generous, but great with an insole and thick socks so perfect for cold weather. I found them so comfortable with no "breaking in" required, that I ordered a black pair in size 40 for everyday wear. My feet are skinny and shallow, although wide at the ball of the foot. My calves are quite small. I wear arch supports in my shoes too Hopefully they will last but they are very good value for money and perfect for those of us who find many boots fit like wellies!”
