“Although the wrong fit for me, beautiful leather and excellent craftsmanship. I imagine they would be comfortable for riding, but possibly not so good for walking as the sole is deeper at the heel than at the toe, tipping the foot forward.”

“These boots look like a cross between a walking boot and a riding boot, and I think will be perfect for what I want, mountain trekking in the Pyrenees, where we will be riding for the most part, but will also be leading the horses over the more difficult terrain. They are robust enough for walking on rough tracks, but at the same time the nature of the sole makes then less likely to get trapped in the stirrup in the event of a fall than a proper mountain walking boot. Quality and fit appears excellent. Only time will tell how they last but based on my experience with other Bareback boots I would expect them to last well. And there are no zips to get stuck or break, just old-fashioned laces.”
