“I was in need of some new short yard boots to spring and summer and the idea of being waterproof to some level attracted me to these for those frosty mornings. The reviews all said how comfortable they were but some advised sizing up if you have a wide foot - I don't but I do have a high instep which is a similar fitting issue. Trying these boots on in the house was fine and I could walk around without rubbing. Job done I thought. First time I wore them to the yard though and my right heel was rubbed raw. Ironically this is my smaller foot as well so should have more room! It's taken several weeks of wearing thick socks and blister plasters to get the right boot to give at all. They are now comfortable enough for short bursts of yard work and get plenty of compliments over style but I'm not sure I'd chose a pair of Barefoot boots again.”

“My daughter and I bought two pairs of waterproof Idaho Storm jodhpur boots for a trail riding holiday in Romania with In The Saddle. These boots are fantastic and worth every penny. They are the most comfortable riding boots that I have ever put on and we both wore them for six days and 185km with no problems whatsoever. We brought blister plasters with us but gave them all away to other riders...”
