I really love my boots, and can tell they are going to turn into my new “old faithfuls”. At first they were super tight and very stiff, but to me this proves the authenticity of the leather. A couple of evenings stuffed with newspaper on the radiator sorted them right out and now they are SO comfortable and great for both riding and doing everyday jobs round the yard. Well worth the spend. Not great for thighs of any real width though; I had to make a cut in the top just to get the zip all the way up but this is my only gripe and it’s not a huge issue, just something for anyone with wider calves to be aware of.

I honestly can say these are the most comfortable and warm riding boots I have ever had - they look great, feel so cosy but light and feel great in the stirrup. I would buy another pair in a different colour if I could - I am a size 4 and they fit perfectly!

great for the winter already and its October. All last year i had cold feet as i used my 'normal' riding boots. these are infinitely better and cosy as well as they have a great feel underfoot and cosy on cold mornings

I was lucky enough to buy the Factory Seconds and they fit perfectly. I love the waxed nubuck. The explanation about sizing of these boots was spot on. The fit is definitely on the narrower side, ankle and leg. The zip is snug to pull up atm but I just use a piece of string and they go up easily and are starting to mould to my legs. It is so refreshing to have a decent length leg even though I only have size 5 feet So many brands seem to think you have short legs with small feet! I do understand some small footers also have shorter legs though so these boots might not be for you. First time I have ridden with warm feet all winter! Thank you for a beautiful quality boot.

I love these boots for how robust and good quality they feel however, I bought them for warmth and comfort and they are not comfortable to walk in. I had to jump off my young horse and walk in hand down the road (200yards) and my feet were covered in raw blisters all around where the zip starts to the side. I’ve worn them on and off for a year and it doesn’t seem to be any better? Not sure if just my feet or if others have had the same problem. Other than this, they would have been a boot I would rave to friends about

I had to return a pair of these to the shop as they did not fit well, BUT, I had the best attention and the best service by Richard who was ready and waiting! In fact, I was so impressed I may just have to go back and get another pair of boots I spotted. These boots feel great and are snuggly warm and I am sure they will last a long time.

It appears that most manufacturers haven't yet caught on to the fact that men also ride.. The idiocy of not producing boots larger than UK size 8 is mind-boggling.

I’m 5”8 and often long boots cut in at my knee but these are perfect. I ordered the half size up so I can wear thicker socks but not need to as the wool seems very insulating. They are for slim calves definitely. For me, they’re perfect even when they stretch but can see how they’d be too tight for others
