“'ve worn these boots to work, down the yard and riding my motorbike (not sure how well they'd protect my ankles in a crash but my feet were warm and dry) My only gripe is that unless you wear long socks or leggings/jodhpurs tucked into them the top stitching rubs your shins making them quite sore if your socks are a little short or slide down into the boot.”

“You know when you have found an item that makes life enjoyable....my Ottawa Storm boots are just this item. Scotland, December minus 8 and my shower and toilet in my house have frozen pipes, despite the heating full on. My feet, toasty! My dogs walked, my horse worked and his stable snug and warm. Life with my new boots is a big improvement. I checked with admin about the size as l have one foot slightly wider than the other and love to wear thick socks. The advice was to get the 7.5 Ottowa ( usually take a 7). Also the Ottowa has pure wool lining! Total bliss. I only take my boots off to go to bed I shall treasure and care for these boots, gotta keep them oiled up so they are happy, then they can keep my feet dry and warm as per their job. In the spring l shall probably get a different pair, or my feet will be too hot.”
