“Probably the best boots I’ve ever had on my feet - got them as a Xmas present , and I just love them - no need to wear them in , they were comfortable from the beginning - will really get to see how they perform this coming weekend in north wales , but I’m expecting them to be perfect”

“Just purchased and great boots I am normally 6.5 but not available in theae boots and going by reviews they come up big Only 2nd time on today and feel they need broken in still as feel hurting my heels but will persevere”

“These boots are fantastic! So glad I got them. Have had them a few months now and they’ve been so comfortable from day one. I seem to have the heels of a delicate princess - shoes and boots always rub and produce blisters, so I usually have Compeed plasters with me wherever I go. I fully expected these boots to do the same until they were well worn in, but they haven’t. Plus, despite my scepticism, they really are waterproof. They’ve been well and truly tried and tested over the last month or so on muddy/waterlogged walks and my feet have stayed bone dry. What’s more, the adjustable straps mean they fit my rather chunky calves with room for tucking in jeans, which I usually struggle with. I bought them in black but I’m so pleased with them I’m tempted to get them in another colour…”

“I was trying to replace some much-loved mid calf black boots and was looking for something warmer and more waterproof for being out and about on cold wet winter days. Found these after some searching and although much more money than I would usually spend, I was convinced by the many very good reviews so I decided these would be an investment. Well they are absolutely brilliant - my feet have stayed warm and dry, they are really comfortable, very well made and they are very easy to clean so they look good quickly after being out in wet muddy weather. After reading Bareback's sizing advice and the comments on reviews I sized down and this was definitely the right decision. The fit is pretty good although I would say a thicker sock is best for me as my feet are quite narrow. They are ok to take on and off despite having no side zip. Delivery was very prompt, beautifully packed and each boot has its own cotton storage bag too as well as some advice on how to store/care for the boots. Can't fault them at all and I have already mentioned Bareback to others looking for good quality waterproof footwear”

“Received these boots a few days ago. Communication from the company was brilliant they arrived a bit late as a postal strike but not their fault and was updated daily. The boots are great quality so soft and comfortable to wear. I’m a dog Walker so on my feet all day and I’ve worn these from day one with no issues. Love them and hope they last well. May need to ask Father Christmas for another pair as got my eye on the brown ones ❤️”

“I got these boots for Christmas and I am so pleased with them. I usually wear a size 5 but they were out of stock in black so based on reviews saying they are fairly roomy, I ordered a size 4 and they fit perfectly. They were comfortable from day one and are completely waterproof - perfect for the wet muddy weather. I use them for walking the dogs, the grip is good and they look so much nicer than wellies.”

“I purchased these boots after many hours of pondering but decided with free returns to try them, I am so glad I did, they are so comfy, I have wider calves and these fit fine, they were a little tight on the front of the ankle when I first put them on but after a few minutes they fit perfectly, they have been on my feet every day since they arrive and not one blister which given it normally takes me weeks to break boots in is amazing! Bareback you need to make more casual country styles in black.”
