“After much procrastination about buying these boots, mainly due to the cost but also, I never buy online due to my wide feet, bunions and high instep . I finally took the plunge this week and am so glad I did. They are a considered purchase but are so comfortable, fabulous quality and beautifully packaged- unpacking them was like Christmas morning!! I've removed the insoles, initially and hope to put them back in, once boots are a bit more relaxed. They have been well and truly christened, walking the dogs through wet grass, gardening and at farm where my horse is kept. I can wholeheartedly recommend them.”

“I procrastinated over these boots for far too long. They're a major purchase, but my goodness so worth the money. I remember reading one review of them that said they're like comfy old slippers. At the time I was skeptical, but now I own a pair I totally get it. They really are! I wear a size 6 on the widest calf setting without the insole (which i've kept for when they're a bit older and saggier) and they're perfect. I love them. My only criticism is that they're a bit of a workout to get your foot in if you've got a high instep, but persevere, i'm so glad that I did. I bought the dubbing at the same time as the boots, I wear them, brush off the debris and every other wear or so, I add dubbing. They're still looking like new and it's been months. *****”

“I absolutely love my new boots ! They are really comfy, properly waterproof, look great , and best of all they easily fit my big calves! I have struggled to find great boots that fit me and am so happy with my Quebecs. I got them from the Bareback stand at Badminton and was seriously impressed with the lovely friendly service I received. Thankyou Bareback !”

“I was very sceptical about these boots and swing back and girth before finally ordering a pair of waterproof Quebec boots in brown. They arrived 2 days after ordering which was great to start with. I put them on and went straight out with my dog for a quick 5 mile walk along the river. So - they fit like a dream. They are super comfy. There was hellish mud and crap everywhere from flooding jug I was sure footed all the way. My feet were toasty and best hug us the mud didn’t really clump on them like my hiking boots either. Super impressed and they look great too. Best decision I’ve made in a long time. Well done Bareback - these boots are quality!”

“Absolutely beautiful and gorgeous boots. I so wanted them to work but one size was too big and one too small. Being so tall the adjutable calf bit didn’t really reach up to my calf and there was no grip around the ankle, and so the heel would slip out completely in the larger size. Brilliant customer service and returns- I can’t fault it. So I’m trying a different boot design instead. Looking forward to one tighter round the ankle. I am still desperate for a pair of these though- if they ever produce a narrower ankle/ taller or narrower calf fitting I will be first in the queue.”
