“I purchased 8 of these and have replaced them all. Firstly some seemed narrow making them harder to put the pillow in. And secondly the linings are a horrible material that disintegrates when you wash them and ends up all over the rest of the washing. Yes one could just zip up the pillow protector before washing but why should one have too. Surely at the price charged it should cotton and there is 1no mention of the type of backing material online. Disappointing.”
“Bought several of these but have replaced them all. One the elastic failed with less than 6 months of use no return policy meant I had to throw away. Not sure why it wouldn’t be replaced or refunded under the Consumers Grantees Act as one would expect a mattress protector to last longer than that. With the other ones the useless backing started to come away in the wash and ended up all over the washing. They should have cotton backings not the rubbish fabric if you can call that, that these have”
“Replaced 4 mattress protectors after we were flooded with these Bambou ones - yes they are a great fit & nice & soft but ever since I have had them, it is like I have had a dog rolling around on the bed as they seem to ‘shed’ fibres that look like dog hair..which ends up EVERYWHERE these fibres block the filter on the washing machine. After washing, the drum needs to be wiped out before the next load otherwise everything gets hairy, also, makes a mess of the dryer ??”
