“One of the two curtain drops I bought had a 12 cm piece of curtaining tape o the edge that did not have the three gathering strings woven through. This meant the tape could not be gathered close to the edge. It left a wide portion of the curtain perfectly straight and ungathered, which looked strange and uneven. I had to fold it over and sew it closed as if it was a broad sideseam. A bit annoying when you bought ready-made curtains for the sake of convenience.”
