“We found the plastic layer cooled the mattress to the point our child was waking up shivering. We tried putting a blanket on top of the plastic area still under the main sheet, but the same result. As soon as we took the plastic sheet off the bed no more shivering wakeups. It is really firm and made a bit of noise when moving around on it. Unfortunately too disruptive for long term use.”
