“I adore this quilt cover, but don’t skip the prep. Out of the packet, it’s stiff, dusty, and covered in loose threads with a slight chemical smell. For the best result: 1. Lay it flat, pick off the loose threads, then turn inside out and repeat. 2. Shake everything vigorously (I used an upstairs window) to get rid of lint. 3. Wash per the care label, adding white vinegar to the rinse. 4. Air-dry, then tumble briefly with wool dryer balls. Afterwards, it’s soft, dreamy, beautiful and lush.”
