“When I was really into gaming, my endgame was the previous FK1+ model. The shape was amazing, grip was great, and I felt a level of control that I never felt with other mice.
I got back into it recently and decided to pick this up - but for some reason, it just doesn’t feel right.. I’m sure the shape is an exact duplicate, but when I hold the mouse, it doesn’t resonate with me as much as the original did. I dug out my OG FK1+ to see if I was just getting old, but no, when I hold that one it’s like I know exactly what my hand should be doing. This model wasn’t able to give me that — I’m not sure if it’s the new coating or something, but I ended up going back to other mice (one of them being the older S1).
On paper though, it is a great mouse. Weight reductions are definitely there, paracord cable is great, and the removal of the ambidextrous buttons (sorry lefties) pretty much solidifies it as the FK1+ I’ve always wanted. It just isn’t for me it seems.”
