“Great picture, though the blacks are lacking. The real disappointment is that in 2025, a flagship projector does not allow you to operate the projector from your phone. There is no app. No way to turn it on and off without their junkie little remote. So if you lose the remote? Out of luck.
As a society, we have moved past requiring people to keep track of 30 different remotes. I guess BenQ didn’t get the memo. Pretty disappointing missing feature in a $2,000 piece of equipment.”

“Stepped up to this from a cheap throw away projector. Being 36x more expensive, the BenQ TK710 has changed the experience completely. Before, I couldn't see the screen if the lights were on. Before, I could barely see the movie I was trying to watch.
I don't have much context of other protectors to compare to, but the experience is great. Setup was easy and BenQ's ceiling mount offered a lot of flexibility. The auto vertical keystone helped a lot, and the focus zoom knobs were easy to adjust. Vertical lens shift offered less movement than I had imagined, but that didn't hurt anything in my setup.
Connection easy and the UI is pretty good. Some options could use more description, particularly involving 3D. My GPU is very old so I have to set it to 1080i 60hz in order to view SBS 3D content. Not sure if that is a limitation on cards manufactured within the decade.
I'm very happy with the purchase. I hope it remains reliable and I can get many years from it.”
