“I have been using this shirt to play tennis in the Colorado sun. I have fair skin, blue eyes, reddish hair, freckles, etc. so people with my genes usually don't even live south of the 41st parallel (Colorado is at the 39th and also at altitude, which adds 10-20% to the UV index). So far, I have not worn it in temps greater than 75 degrees, so I don't know how it will work for that heat. I like the idea of it, in that I won't have to reapply sunscreen and will also be more assured of a total block on my arms and upper chest than I would get with a sunblock. I ordered a very large size (XL) because I wanted it to be as loose as possible so it would be as cool as possible in the heat of running around on the court. The arms are very long and I have to roll them up, but that is probably due to its being a very large size for me (I am 5'8"). I will need to wait until next summer to know how it is to wear when the temps are higher.”

“This is my second bloquv shirt--first one was bought in California a year ago, but it has a hood and wanted something lighter. New shirt fits perfectly (medium, for 5'9", 148 lbs, athletic build, tennis player) It is lightweight, but seems to block most of sun--not completely though, still see some tanning around bra straps. Happy to avoid layers of sunscreen though, and will get lots of use out of this on courts (need all white clothing) This is definitely one of the best products on the market now--I've done lots of research and purchased several UV shirts in the past few years/”
