“I was really excited to receive this item. I've had skin cancer and need to cover up as I swim but though I'm a normal size 2, it's loose and bags up in the water. After a few wears, it feels as though it's totally lost its shape. I'm constantly pulling it down. I also believe that I'm still getting too much sun through this thin fabric so it's not proving to protect from the sun enough.”
Hi Sarah, can you please send us a picture of the tag so we can identify what production your top is from. Once you provide us this information we can tell you the UPF rating on the garment you purchased. I see that you purchased a crop top which is a great top to wear over a swimsuit or over another shirt, but I don't necessarily think it is the best top to be swimming in. For swimming we would recommend our 2001 style or any other style that will be tight fitting and down to the waist.
“I love my crop tops. I bought 2. I wear them out with a dress as well as playing tennis or biking. They keep me protected from the sun and keep me feeling cool or warm if it’s windy or cool in the evening”
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We love to hear that you’re keeping you skin protected with Bloquv and continuing to enjoy the outdoors!
“This was my fifth crop top I have purchased. I love to wear them with my swimsuits as well as when I play tennis. They protect my skin and keep me cool all day. They are lightweight and comfortable.”
“It would be great to have something this practical that didn't LOOK so utilitarian, but upf clothing is a sad, sad wasteland, and I'm grateful for my pottage, please sir may I have some more. Perfect for all of the times when the thing you actually want to wear doesn't have a high enough neckline, or long enough sleeves, but an actual jacket is layering wayyy too much fabric in a situation certain to be maximally sweaty and uncomfortable already. This is sleeves and decolletage coverage as one garment instead of cobbling together those shoulder high gloves and a neck gaiter. get one.
5'4", 125-130 lbs, 32DDD, I often wear a small but I'm glad I have the medium. Still snug. The sleeves are a good length for me, the thumbholes are comfortable and don't pull.”
