“Although I haven't had the opportunity of using this anchor to date, I have previously owned the 6kg of the same anchor. It worked brilliantly on my 2tonne yacht. My newest yacht is 2.5 tonne. I purposely over spec'd the requirements of the anchor with my newer boat with the 10kg anchor. Using the ROCNA tables, I could have used the 6kg model, but confidence in your anchor at night in an unexpected storm is paramount. I know I'll sleep easy.

“Fantastic holding ability. Swapped out my generic anchor for the Rocna 10 one week prior to a four day trip to Schouten Island off Tasmania's east coast. Second night in we experienced 30-35 knot winds directly into the anchorage. My 7.6m aluminum Sterncraft did not move an inch. Another boat in the crew got washed up onto the beach in the same conditions. I have great confidence in this anchor. Highly recommended.”

I have investigated your order this morning, and found that the anchor you purchased was drop-shipped to you from a supplier of ours. Our supplier did not provide us with written advice of your anchor being despatched, and as such we did not pass this information onto you. I do apologise for this missing communication, and hope it didn't inconvenience you.
Essentially this has identified a gap in our despatch process that we need to close, as it is resulting in a less-than-ideal experience for some customers, including you. I have taken steps this morning to get that process in motion, and I hope to get an improved process in place over the next few weeks.
