“I recently replaced both the gear selector and throttle control cables on my 50HP Yamaha 4 Stroke with this cable and am really impressed with how smooth both the gear selection and throttle input is. From memory, feels smoother than the original OEM cables were when new!
Had a go at doing this myself after watching a couple of Youtube videos to save a few dollars quoted by a marine mechanic - only took about 45 mins, including removing the old ones, retying the new ones in plus a tidy up the wiring / ducting along the route.
