“I used this plus nut to reattach a tailgate bracket which supported one of the two the gas struts. The M6 OEM nut had actually chewed all the way through the sheet metal of the body of the car (2015 Kia Carnival). The M10 plus nut was a great replacement as the hole left by the OEM nut was about 15-16mm. Installation was a bit tricky but I was able to grind back the sheet metal and press the plus nut flange in with a panel-beating hammer. Install was then pretty easy using a ratchet and the M10 screw to compress the plus nut in place.”
