“I used this plus nut to reattach a tailgate bracket which supported one of the two the gas struts. One of the M6 OEM nuts had actually chewed all the way through the sheet metal of the body of the car (2015 Kia Carnival). I used an M10 plus nut as a replacement for the hole left by the OEM nut and this M6 plus nut to replace the other OEM M6 nut. Installation was a bit tricky but I was able to use an electric drill to drive an M6 screw in to compress the plus nut in place. The solution is still working great!”
