“When I opened the bottle and had a smell it was very dominated by the apple cider vinegar. I thought this would overpower the taste of the drink but it doesn't. The drink is a very subtle earthy herbally taste with just a hint of the apple cider vinegar. It's a really nice taste and will become my evening drink ritual.”
“I really wanted to like this, but although I made it as recommended, I found it tasted overly of vinegar. I'm going to keep experimenting by adding more orange and/or using a flavoured tonic instead of soda. Perhaps it was this particular batch.”
“Well. What can I say? The first time I tasted Botivo was at the most excellent dining experience that is ‘Rind’, near Settle (check it out, pizzas and an epic view to die for). And I thought to myself, ‘By Jove! This is most quaffable and deeelish - I must have myself a bottle at home’. So I ordered two. They came quickly and were beautifully presented and we have indeed quaffed them with some soda water and a slice of orange and a sprig of mint throughout February, before tea. Lovely.
