“I went to enjoy a gifted meal in a 2Michelin* restaurant and asked for a non-alcoholic aperitif. I was given a Botivo spritz with ice and the trimmings. Honestly! One sip and I was hooked!!!!
Enjoying it at home and looking forward to the Ottolenghi collab bottle.”
“I bought two bottles of Botivo recently and it honestly is the best non alcoholic drink out there - I dont drink alcohol and mocktails are always over sweet and dull. I have it with fever tree Mediterranean tonic and a splash of fresh orange and an orange slice - the perfect long drink - have recently bought the Ottolenghi special and cant wait for it to arrive - Happy Summer sorted - Frankie”
“Yes I read the reviews that criticised Botivo for tasting like apple cider vinegar , but as a daily ACV drinker for health reasons I was prepared to give it a go. It’s so much more than that. Infinitely more complex than ACV. Reminds me a bit of vermouth , and some of the Italian aperol like Cynar with that very herbal and bitter background taste. It has a very nostalgic taste for me , taking me back to a spell in Milan and Modena. I highly recommend it. Try messing around with the ratios and definitely on ice. Great drink. My second on many bottles to come.”
“I first tried this in a cocktail in a London restaurant and loved it, more than a real cocktail and having cut out alcohol from my life recently it is the perfect drink.”
“Before I begin, was I not sent batch 29?
Much as I would love to leave a glowing review I have to report that after wrestling fur some minutes to remove the waxy neck cover my arthritic thumbs have been completely defeated by the cork (is it a
cork?) Which remains firmly wedged in the
bottle. Hopefully I will have visitors with strong young thumbs before too long. I'm sure it will be delicious and worth waitng for.”
“Bought for a weekend away with my pregnant sister, who was always partial to a cocktail. She absolutely loved it and will stock up for the rest of her summer of pregnancy.”
