“Nicely made, clear enough instructions, very happy with it.
Small points would be that the tubing was difficult to cut to size cleanly, so a scoring cutter might be better advised rather than the hacksaw blade I purchased, the superglue was a little runny for a rounded surface, so a touch of epoxy may have been better, and I'd have preferred rawlbolts over plugs. Then again, fittings are never solid enough for me :)”
“The stainless steel c-shape shower rail is impossible to put together if you’re cutting the rails by hand. As soon as you cut the long shower pole, the edges very slightly bend in places by less than 1mm (inevitable because you’re cutting from the outside) and it becomes impossible to fit the rail on the elbow bracket. We tried three times - once with a hacksaw & the correct blade, twice with a tube cutter which was the correct spec. So we’re well over £200 out of pocket including the tools we purchased for the job & have no shower rail.”
“Gorgeous bespoke u-shaped shower curtain rail.
I bought the u-shaped shower curtain rail with no ceiling support. This is the only reasonable solution I could find for a back-to-wall bath in a bathroom with a 3 meter high ceiling. The rail is designed to be cut to size in both dimensions, and this was very useful indeed. It was easy to fix onto the wall, it's incredibly well-made and looks really beautiful with the industrial detailing. I'm very impressed with it, and think it was definitely worth the price. I'll be buying another one for my next bathroom renovation.”
