“The cover is great. Very duarable. Nice tight elastic. A bit pricey, but excellent quality … you get what you pay for. Completely waterproof !! Quite a bit thicker and heavier than the plain/lighter superweave which I have for our Honda. But I knew this when I bought it. This is my 3rd cover from California Car Covers, and I have been very gappy with them. The other was for our Chevy Venture minivan, which ripped after years of my yanking on the roof to get the puddles off after rains, but CA Car covers replaced it even after the warranty. Customer service is very knowledgeable, and fair … no hassle with the return, they just wanted me to cut out and send in my old cover's logo, which is fair, keeps the customer honest and to not take advantage of the companies generosity.”
“The material looks well made and fits my 2 classic cars very well. The elastic ends make it easy to tightly cover the cars and remove if necessary. A bit on the expensive side, but a quality product usually is. To me well worth it!”
“I have had two of these covers and the weakest part is the elastic . The elastic breaks down quickly and then the cover doesn't anchor itself so it ties in the middle but blows up in the front and rear them you to improvevise by trying anchor it down with ropes or straps . I used a rope in the front of my corvette and I have spots in the paint . I hope I can get out but it looks like rub marks. The cover it self breaks down too . Sun destroys it , seams come apart . Like I said this was my second one the first one was covered under warranty. And I was told this one was improved . The only difference was the seams were in a better place . Same elastic no extra tie down locations and same material that scars your paint and this is there top of the line cover $$$. I myself am moving on”
“(So may be being used) The panels were still holding up great. The only problem I had with it was that the UV rays in Southern California were killing the stitching and I was reinforcing/restitching the top seams with Sailrite PTFE Lifetime Thread (UV resistant) while binge watching TV shows. I just received another one of these covers to replace the stolen one. Will start watching the stitching in about 2.5 years. This time I got a carcover security cable along with a Abus combo lock that fit the cable. I also bought some fabric spray paint and stencils and spraypainted my license plate number on 4 places on the outside of the cover and 1 place inside (windshield area). I was very confused why anyone would steal my old stitched up bird poop covered custom carcover. My current theory that thief had or knew someone with my exact car (Honda CRX) or other closely sized car.”
“I got a superweave cover for my roadrunner and it fits like a glove. i have ordered cheaper covers from some of the other companies and they might as well be a giant silver garbage bag ! This fits and protects well enough that i can work on other projects in the same shop and the car is show ready as soon as i remove the cover.”
