“I have four black cars, and the California Car Duster is a must, I have one in each car. But, you have to buy an original California Car Duster. I have tried other, cheaper, brands, but they don't last long and dry out. Don't wash your California Car Duster and it will last for years and years. If you are worried about how heavy the wooden handle is, you can buy the plastic handle California Car Duster which is lighter.”
“I bought my duster when I lived in California and would just brush over my 944 to take the dust film off. Worked like a charm and I wasn't worried about scratching because it's so soft and the dust gets sucked in from static. I'd just shake it off after every few swipes and keep going. Works on leather seats too. I moved to Oregon - works on out-of-state dust also. :)”
“I have purchased another duster recently as I use these religiously on all my cars and trailers. I live in a dusty area where water is not always available so the duster is a great way to keep my vehicles looking clean. Although many friends say they don't work or the will scratch the paint I have found that not true as long as you "dust' with it not scrub. I have Black or dark colored cars which are dusted almost daily as I do not have a garage and in the sunshine the vehicles look freshly washed.”
