“I have been using this capsule for my '73 Stingray Roadster since last fall and I am impressed with how well is has worked out. We live on a hill and get some strong winds and no issues so far. The vinyl is thick and quite heavy for a single person but I manage by going from one side to the other. My only recommendation would be to design it so the zipper ends are on the long side of the capsule rather than the back end where the fans are. I think this would make it easier for uncovering and re-covering the vehicle.”
“This was a great investment!! I recently lost my father who I restored and collected Oldsmobiles with, which also meant I inherited his cars. I had to sell a my HS Car to keep his 1967 442 Convertable but I had no room to store it, just an old pole shelter that was 20x12ft. Bought the Car Capsole to keep the car outside but in a controlled, animal free, moisture free enviorment and with the added protection of the pole shelter. Worked Great!! Electric Bill barely went up for the 5 months I stored the car!! Very Happy and suggest this to any one with no storage. Way cheaper than a storage unit and you can keep your eye on your car on your property!!”
“I have only had the outdoor car capsule for a couple months and only in use for a little over a month, but so far I would highly recommend it. I "sat" on it for a little bit while I prepped the area I was putting it. I only had gravel underneath so I was originally going to put a couple layers of tarp under it, but better was some 5/8" thick rubber flooring mats I came across. I was in a rush to finally get it up because a 2'+ snowstorm was predicted the next day. It was quick and easy getting up. For all those that questioned it, yes a battery "tender" wire can easily be fed through the same hole as the car capsule fan power line. The capsule worked great in the storm and since. The only issue I had was the fan being buried by the snow, I had a piece of culvert pipe laying around and for a quick fix just butted it up against the fan intake and it worked great. So far very happy and have suggested it to other family members.”
