“In the fifties and sixties I grew up in Long Beach, California and remember the Mr. Horsepower woodpecker with the cigar from local speed shops like Reath Automotive. There was also a drag strip in Wilmington. The Woodpecker was beyond my reach even though I owned a 2 door 57 Canary yellow Chevy and a brand new 69 Chevy Malibu. Now I am very retired and have a beautiful "Mr Horsepower" Cap lto wear while iving in Virginia right outside Washington, D.C. Thank you very much for the Mr. Horsepower Cap!!! I am very proud to wear it as It brings back a lot of wonderful memories. I joined the Marine Corps in 1967 an never really returned to Long Beach except to visit family and friends! Thanks again as I will likely buy other stuff now for my first floor "man Cave."”
