The DeFender Heavy Duty All-Weather 3-Layer Custom Outdoor & Indoor Car Cover with Soft Inner Lining Reviews

1 Rating 1 Reviews
I put the DeFender on my '65 Mustang convertible outside. It was on through one moderate rain event for 3 days. I'm in California, so the temperature was about 60°. When the rain passed, and I went to check on it, the DeFender was absolutely soaked through and through. All layers could not have been wetter if I had had it sitting in my pool the whole time. When I pulled it up at the driver door, I saw streams of water running down inside my door glass and brown spots all over my white front bench seat. I opened the door, and it was an absolute steam bath inside the car. The cover held so much heat in, that it literally steamed the inside of my car, which then condensed, and was soaking it from the inside out. The condensation formed on the vinyl convertible top, then dripped through the brand new black headliner taking some of the color with it. That caused lighter dots all over the black headliner (which then molded), and stain drips all over my white front bench seat. No breathability whatsoever, and no water resistance whatsoever. Absolutely terrible. It will ruin your car in a couple days.
