Ponies, QH's, ASH's and TB's of varying sizes and conditions and they all fit into their Caribu's thanks to the adaptability of this brand.
The detachable necks have been a game changer and have the most superior neck rug attachment I've come across, they secure tightly and have stood the test of time with my worst rug wreckers.
The 1200 + 1680 Denier rugs are the most durable rugs I've found and even though all 14 horses are paddocked together and play fight and tear around their paddock daily.
They all rub against trees and barbed wire fences and still manage to remain in tack without any scratches or tears.
As for water resistance...I get (on average) about 5 seasons out of these rugs before the water seeps in during large rainfall events. I have 2 Colorado's that are about to begin their 7th season and they are still as water tight as the day they were purchased.
We often get rainfall events with up to 5 days of heavy rain and the Alpines and Colorado's remain dry and warm throughout the entire duration.
The cottons, hybrids and mesh rugs are all just as faultless.
(Although it would be better if the summer rugs had the same chest straps as the winter rugs IMO)
The horses all live out in the elements together and these rugs keep the rain, hail and shine off their backs!
