“Since these bonnets were made available I’ve used them on my horses over many years. Slight changes have been made in design and materials by Caribu to better suit horse and weather (more breathable). I can’t think of a better style bonnet to use that does the job of protection from insects and sunburn. I feel satisfied from the safety aspect and only remove to check for ear wax at the end of the day. Washing is a breeze, all tabs done up, inside out and turn washing machine on. Line dry. Dries fast on horse too if caught in the rain. Good to know your horse is safe and protected. Recently had eye infection and had to treat. The bonnet helped a lot in recovery against sun and annoying insects. I’ve just ordered another six bonnets, they’re that good and they don’t fall to pieces. What else could you ask for?”

“Have used Caribu masks before - but this updated model is even better. Fits beautifully and does not rub - mesh eye covers are firm and stay right away from the eyes. Mask has loops for easy connection to neck rug so there is no gap. My vet even took the web address so she can recommend them to other clients.”

“Very impressed with these bonnets. They stay where they are put, despite a certain boy's best efforts to remove it. Both horses, neither of whom like having their ears mucked around with, accept these being put on without any issues. They are a large fit - a Cob fits a 15.2 TB who is in a 6'3" rug, and the Pony fits a 14.2 bloke in a 5'9" rug. Very impressed with Caribu's exchange of the ordered Full and Cob for a Cob and Pony.”

This bonnet is the only fly mask/bonnet that my horse cannot/won't take off and the great thing is that if it does slide out of position (if he was to get really intense with trying to remove it) the mesh allows him to see freely anyway.
