“I have a QH who is very broad in the shoulders. Its not easy to find a rug in which gives enough freedom for her to move around in as other rugs only have a normal size gusset.
I highly reccomend the XL gusset for bigger horses. I also have a smaller pony who is more slimmer in her chest, the XL gusset also fits her just as well. The rug does not move around much. I dont arrive at the paddock to find the rug is hanging off my horses by the leg straps.
The only reason why I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is the cotton content is only 30%.
It is very hot in qld summers and I would prefer the rugs to have more cotton in them for breathability. This rug is only good in cold seasons in Qld as the horses get too hot in them.”
