“Good, lightweight rug that is perfect for hotter days. My only complaint is that it needs shoulder gussets because the fabric has no give to it so is tight over the shoulders and causes rubs.”
“I just realised I now own 10 Caribu rugs for one horse 😱! Being SEQ the weather changes and is hot (rugless weather) so I have pretty much one of everything for all days layering up is easier then having a few heavy rugs-both have canvas and synthetic neck and neck less etc so am covered what ever the weather throws-heavy rain etc.
I bought the flag as the mesh zebra although works well is giving my horse split ends while he’s losing his winter coat-so this should do the trick at keeping ticks flys etc at a minimum while protecting his creamy skin from sun damage! Great value as always-love all our Caribu rugs! â¤ï¸â¤ï¸”
“First time I have purchased the flag rug.Oh why did I wait so long ‼ï¸as this rug is wonderful and fits perfectly to size.He is a rug ripper and needs to be covered because he has cancer.He is much cooler in this rug and has protection against the uv rays.No rips yet so he must be comfortable.Loved it so much have ordered another one.GREAT RUG wish I had tried this rug earlier.Cannot beat CARIBU RUGS for quality and fit.THANK YOU CARIBU.👔
“Good fit for my horse and has lasted 2 summers with minimal tears due to bites from other horses. I would like the front buckles to be reviewed though, they allow the binding and front of the rug to fold inwards and rub on my horse's chest. Otherwise I am happy with it.”
“We have 3 of these in rotation and one as backup. This is pretty much what my horse lives in during summer. Needs a loop on the outside binding edge to thread chest strap through. This would stop them folding in.”
