“Same experience as the other reviewer the detachable neck attachments are on the lining which does not hold. One side started to tear then the stitching came undone (stitching came undone on tail flap also) and the other side is tearing the lining. Top/middle Velcro square never holds because it takes all the tension so it ends up gaping between rug and neck. Needs to be sewn onto the outer fabric like the other detachable neck models (I have a different caribu model for my other horse and it has been fantastic)”
“I purchased this model from my local petstock last year. Whilst the rug itself is warm and of good quality the way the detachable neck attaches needs to be rethought. It didn't last half of winter. When the horse has its head down the neck portion pulls and exposes the lining, allowing rain to soak into the lining of the neck rug. Pretty quickly the stitching tore, so I had to remove the neck portion. Luckily the remaining rug was still fully functional.
It is a good concept, but just isn't robust in its current form.”
