“I’ve owned two of these and while I love their appearance the fact of the matter is you can barely get this on a tree without breaking it. I used to place it on a single branch but sometimes the branches aren’t angled correctly. Tried mounting it on a peg with a makeshift wire as an alternative, but it’ll still crack at the slightest manipulation. Don’t even try doing this on a very tall tree unless you’re steady enough with a good ladder because you’ll break it just trying to fiddle it into place. Needs a reinforced base or needs to come with some kind of mounting kit”
