“I originally registered for this course in 2019, but a series of setbacks (including Covid), prevented me from attending. In the meantime, I moved to Wales but decided to travel down and stay in Chichester so I could attend the course. I am so glad I made the effort! The course was very professional, friendly and fun. The group was limited to 8 people which allowed ample time to ask questions and gain advice. Maria has oodles of patience and takes her time explaining the procedures on a one to one basis. By the end of the day, we were all able to take home a simple project that we had made, and as a complete beginner, I now feel confident in the basics of setting up and using a sewing machine. The atmosphere was relaxed with Maria and Kay on hand making tea and coffee throughout the day to keep us going. It was a very pleasant experience and good value for money. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to take the first step in learning to sew.”
