“I bought the skirt Liberty print kit to make with my 8 year old granddaughter. They live a couple of hours drive away from us and I took my sewing machine with me and some pins and scissors but not all my sewing kit. The kit arrived quickly and we got sewing to find no elastic in the pack and I had thought the tape measure/ribbon would be useful to measure and did not take one with me. I found the instructions were in cms but the tape was in inches! We loved making the skirt and that is the only reason I gave it only 4 stars. I am glad to see you have found cheaper material for
the latest skirt. The Liberty print was lovely but it did make it expensive.”

We did try and print cm tape measures, but the print came out all blurry and no good sadly. We decided that as it was more decorative & fun than practical (at 12 inches long) to stick with the old imperial measurements.
Hope that your grand daughter has lots of enjoyment wearing the skirt - the Liberty fabric is so beautiful - and such a lovely thing to make together!
