This kit is as good as it was when I made it nearly 40 years ago for my baby daughter - now making it for her baby son. It is very sweet and also practical and useful.

It looks lovely and went down a storm I would have liked some measurements to guide the placing of the pockets And I do worry that the’ plain fabric’ is a little flimsy perhaps to support filled pockets Just not-picking? But you did ask and overall I loved it

Hi Clothkittens I have finished the baby changing bag for the second time. I made one for myself 40 years ago and was thrilled to find that I have been able to make one for my son and his wife. I am sure they will find it handy like I did! Best wishes Jackie

Really enjoyed making up this kit and it has turned out very well. The instructions were clear and I didn't have to unpick once!

This is absolutely wonderful! It is on its way to India for my daughter who is about to become a mum. Clothkits has a very special place in my heart as I made many kits when my children were little (I have kept most of them). The creativity and the quality is a good as ever- thank you ❤️

Finished bag looks great but I had to keep referring to the photos on the cloth kit website to clarify instructions. These could be greatly - and easily - improved.: 1. “…and …. Layer of wadding” (It didn't say how many) 2. “..Velcro… 2.5cm from TOP edge” (Photo on website indicated BOTTOM edge) 4. 2nd strap position not marked on diagram. This is essential for positioning pocket D. 8. Completing bag: There is not enough fabric to stitch Velcro across bottom edge. This is the first time it is mentioned. (Is it an added feature from the original??) Suggestions: Improvements in instructions + step by step photos on website for unclear sections. I was going to buy a kit for a child’s jacket but having gone through the process with the bag, I’ll be looking for a normal pattern! Thanks for reading if you’ve got this far! PS - I have many years of experience with making clothes/curtains/ household items.
