First, the pins: they are superb, gliding effortlessly through everything from delicate lawn to heavyweight canvas. But the revelation for me was the ceramic holder--it has a magnetic base so the pins seem to float back to their home almost unaided, and are in the perfect position to be picked up again. The glaze on the holder is amazingly beautiful.I am hand-quilting the lining to a baby jacket and with these pins (and my equally fantastic Japanese needles)the sewing is pure bliss! Sometimes little things give the greatest pleasure.”
