“I enjoyed doing the teapot embroidery kit. Four stars rather than five due to the kit being a bit skimpy on threads. Thankfully I have quite a good selection so was able to match the blue thread I needed to do the smoke. Very pleased with the results and looking forward to framing soon.”
“Paper patterns are expensive these days so when I bought an I AM pattern (for dungarees) I was initially surprised that it was printed overlapping and needed tracing off - but then realised that it meant that the pattern could easily be used multiple times in different sizes. I wasn't sure if it would be worth spending even more on the dot and cross grid paper to trace it on to, but it really was! The paper is good quality, strong and easy to handle but thin enough to see through. The grid makes it so easy to align your pattern and be sure you haven't moved it slightly while tracing it off (which could be a disaster at the fitting stage) and to incorporate alterations to length, for example. Would definitely buy this again.”
