The training materials were clear and the lab were relevent and helpful, but we had multiple issues with the lab environment not working, and having to skip labs because of those technical issues. The lab environment also restarted and got hung up multiple times per session. Mansoor was extreamly helpful with troubleshooting, but many of the issues required more access than he had to to environment.

More knowledgeable instruction was provided by Palo Alto Networks Cortex XSIAM: Security Operations and Automation (EDU-270). It gave us more insight into Plao Alto XSIAM and XDR program, including who would be involved in the investigation, how incidents and alerts are generated, how dashboards and reports are developed, and more.

The prereqs really have almost all the content. If everyone does it, we have more time to cement that knowledge in the class. - There are a series of errors on the XQL prereq course on joins in the join types page. The structure of the page is logical, and there is a lot of material to cover and relate, namely Cartesian joins, SQL versus XQL, and inner, outer and left. The problem comes when examples of one are mixed with another. (https://beacon.paloaltonetworks.com/uploads/resource_courses/targets/5684029/original/index.html#/page/65b8e3646e5671aa3a510662): 1. Under XQL Join Types, Join Query Examples - left, right and inner are described, but the examples below have (true=true) as the condition. This is not a mistake, however it would be extremely helpful for a learner to see the 3 results sets written out - by using the same example (the result set from cartesian join above), we can see that that is THE SAME as the INNER join example... then showing the other two would illustrate how the order of the rows would change, but you would still have all the same rows... This sets the student up well for understanding that the only point there to get was that regardless of join type, the condition must change appropriately for each evaluation fo the 2. In the very next block of text, we have the counter example of what (false=false) does to ANY join, with INNER as an example. However, the Venn diagram is incorrect - there is an overlapping section. Instead LT and RT muist be separated so there is no overlapping region. Or you can un-shade the overlapping set to show there are no element in common. - the assessment for joins is correct.
