“I received my "Rosone" electric iron last week. The machine itself looks just beautiful. The workmanship and quality are amazing. I chose a recipe online and got to work.
The first three I burnt but after that I got the hang of the timing. I was turning out Pizzelle by the pile ! They came out golden brown, perfectly formed and light as a feather. They are so thin and delicate. I dusted with powdered sugar and stored in an airtight container. This iron is so easy to use. I lightly brushed the plates with vegetable oil before first use, heated it up then wiped plates clean with a paper towel. I didn't need to oil again during cooking as the dough has plenty of butter in it. I wiped the plates clean with paper towel again when i was finished. I've used it three times now and have not had to oil again. None of my Pizzelle stuck to the plates. I've only tried Vanilla but will be adding lemon zest to my next batch. I'll be making these as gifts for family and friends this Christmas. I know I won't be able to stop at one iron. I'm already eyeing different designs. Three weeks ago, I'd never heard of Pizzelle, now I'm hooked!

“This would have to be my favorite pizzelle maker I own. The Rosone pattern is beautiful. You can make 3 different sizes within the Rose pattern. The appliance is excellent quality if you heat the plates sufficiently you don’t need to grease at all as it becomes non stick. 10/10 from me”
